Amir is investigating methods to improve the cooling process of high powered electronic components through phase change in direct immersion cooling. Experimental and computational work is being performed to determine efficient and economical methods to support the electronics industry.
Amir is a research assistant from Egypt pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of New Mexico. Previously he worked as a mechanical power engineer specializing in heat transfer. His master's degree research focused on impingement jet air cooling of electronics, and his current interest in remains in the same field. Cooling of high power electronics is essential for reliable operation and as such should be done efficiently.
