Christopher Wolfe's research is in developing advanced lightweight heat rejection systems for space nuclear power systems. Outside of ISNPS Christopher has undergraduate research experience with UNM's Extreme Materials Group where he produced metal matrix composites for nuclear applications via accumulative roll bonding. He also has worked with Idaho National Laboratory in both uranium fuel fabrication and wetting behavior characterization for chloride molten salts at material interfaces.
